MADE FOR UPGRADES

• HOW IT WORKS WHEN ORDERING PV3 WITH A CUSTOM TUNE -

WE WILL SHIP YOU THE PV3. YOU WILL NEED TO PLUG IT INTO YOUR BIKES DIAGNOSTICS PORT.
START THE BIKE, LET IT IDLE FOR 60 SEC. THEN SHUT DOWN THE BIKE.
WITH THE KEY ON , KILL SWITCH IN RUN POSITION. GO TO FLASH TUNE.
SEE IF YOU SEE A FILE ENDING IN .stk IF YES THEN WRITE DOWN THE NAME OF THAT TUNE FILE.
(EXAMPLE -- HD-123-XFHB-23.stk) IF YOU DON'T SEE THE .stk FILE THEN FIND VEHICLE TOOLS, READ ECU.
THEN AFTER ECU READ GO BACK TO FLASH TUNE AND SEE IF .stk FILE IS PRESENT.
IF YES, NOW YOU NEED TO SHUT BIKE DOWN.
REMOVE PV3 AND PLUG IT INTO A WINDOWS COMPUTER OR LAPTOP WITH THE USB CABLE THAT CAME IN THE BOX.
THE PV3 WILL ACT JUST LIKE A THUMB DRIVE (OR SD CARD) OPEN YOUR EMAIL IN YOUR BROWSER. SEND AN EMAIL TO BLRTUNING.TECH@GMAIL.COM ATTACH THE FOLLOWING FILES TO THE EMAIL. FIND THE PV3 AND ATTACH THE
.stk FILE THAT MATCHES THE ONE SHOWN WHEN PV3 WAS ON THE BIKE.
ALSO OPEN THE PV_INFO FILE FOLDER AND ATTACH THE PV_INFO.txt FILE. (IT MIGHT NOT SAY .txt ON YOUR COMPUTER)
NOW IN THE EMAIL TYPE YOUR NAME AND ORDER NUMBER FROM BLR TUNING.
INCLUDE THE YEAR, THE MAKE, THE MODEL, AND CUBIC INCH (CI) OF YOUR BIKE.
ALSO INCLUDE A COMPLETE LIST OF YOUR MODS. EXHAUST, SLIP-ONS, HEADER, MID-PIPE, CAMS, INTAKE, AIR FILTER, FUEL INJECTORS, THROTTLE BODY, BBK CI... ECT.... IF YOU LEAVE ANYTHING OUT WE WILL ASSUME THAT PART IS STOCK.
WE WILL THEN BUILD YOUR CUSTOM TUNE FROM SCRATCH AND EMAIL IT BACK TO YOU. DOWNLOAD THE NEW CUSTOM TUNE (EXAMPLE -- BLR TUNING CUSTOM TUNE.djt) TO YOUR PV3. (NEVER PUT ANYTHING IN THE PV_INFO FILE FOLDER, ONLY THE INFO FILE WILL BE IN THERE.
ALL OTHER FILES WILL GO BELOW OR ABOVE IT)
ALWAYS USE THE DISCONNECT DEVICE FEATURE BUILT INTO WINDOWS BEFORE UNPLUGING THE PV3.
NEVER UNPLUG OR PLUG IN THE PV3 WHILE VEHICLE POWER IS ON. NOW PLUG PV3 INTO YOUR HARLEY.
TURN KEY ON, KILL SWITCH IN RUN POSITION, DONT START THE BIKE. NOW FIND FLASH TUNE. FIND THE NEW CUSTOM TUNE. SELECT IT.
YOU CAN SCROLL DOWN THROUGH THE NOTES TO SEE ALL CHANGES.
THEN HIT THE BIG ENTER BUTTON AGAIN TO START THE FLASH.
IF IT SAYS DEVICE CLEAN UP OR PAIR DEVICE SAY YES BY CLICKING THE BIG ENTER BUTTON.
ONCE THE FLASH HAS STARTED. DO NOT INTERRUPT THE TUNE. DO NOT PUSH BUTTONS ON PV3 OR ON THE BIKE.
WHEN FINISHED FOLLOW ON-SCREEN COMMANDS. SHUT VEHICLE DOWN.
MOUNT PV3 TO THE BIKE OR REMOVE THE PV3.
